24th – 26th/27th December 2019
Christmas with us is a time to reconnect with family and friends. Whether this be bringing your own traditions with you or trying something new, it’s up to you. So, grab a board game to commence the annual tournaments, wrap each present with a bow, top up on the pigs and blankets, watch the Queen’s speech, head out for the non-negotiable pre-Christmas lunch walk to get that fresh air into the lungs or snooze through the food-coma.
- Two or three night’s accommodation
- Breakfast each morning and dinner each evening. Not forgetting the all important Christmas lunch
- Live music from Colin Ramage, John MacLean and Willie Lawrie
- A visit from the man of the moment – Santa
All from £121.50 per person, per night!
Christmas eve highlights
Arrive on Christmas Eve and make yourself at home. Head to the lounge with a good book, take a dip in the pool or find your bearings while wrapped cosy in layers with a stroll along Loch Leven. A three-course dinner will be served in the evening with a glass of sparkling wine. Then feel the buzz created by Scottish Folk singer Colin Ramage.
If you fancy, you can join in on the carols and Christmas hymns at one of the local midnight church services. We would be happy to point you in the right direction.
Christmas Day Highlights
Enjoy a relaxed morning, starting with breakfast (taking one more sausage than usual is completely acceptable, just make sure to leave some room for lunch!). Santa will be making a special visit in the morning to wish the little ones a Merry Christmas (note: we won’t have any mummies kissing Santa). We recommend heading outdoors after breakfast and the excitement of opening presents. There are plenty of walks in the area, even for the smallest of tots.
Christmas lunch at the Isles of Glencoe means not a soggy Brussel in sight, gravy at just the right consistency and golden roasters (crunchy on the outside, fluffy on the inside). And, of course, the all-important pigs and blankets (there’s plenty to go around!).
If you haven’t snoozed off into a food coma after lunch, the afternoon is the perfect time to pull out the boardgames, watch the Queen’s speech or have a few drinks at the bar and delve into those embarrassing family moments we all wish we could forget (yes, I really did have that haircut back in 2004).
Our evening buffet with hot and cold festive dishes will be on hand to top you up if you need it. For an evening of music, head to the lounge where singer guitarist John MacLean will be performing.
Boxing day highlights
Boxing day is a day of exploration – we recommend heading up the Nevis range to take the gondola up to the top (weather permitting) or we can let you in on some gems you can find on our doorstep – check out our Top 10.
Accordionist, Willie Lawrie, will entertain after Boxing Day dinner.
27th December – homeward bound
After setting yourself up for the journey home with breakfast, it is time for us to say goodbye!
