The Argyll coastal route

Soak up the sites on some of Scotland’s most awe-inspiring road routes. Experience an ever changing contrast from coastal panoramas, and mountain landscape, to still water lochs, and word-renowned famous stretches of deserted Highland road. Expect spectacular scenery, plenty of places to stop and explore, not to be missed village pubs, and a route that will keep you inspired for years to come.

What is there to see?

Where do we start! The drive through Glencoe is one of our favourites and is something everyone should do at least once. Long straight lenghts of road suddenly curve into sharp turns and bends through one of Scotland’s most mighty glens. The changing seasons make it feel like a different drive every time. We’ve also got the famous Road to the Isles route on our doorstep, where you can see sandy beaches, dramatic hills, heather moors, sun sets like no other, and the remote wilderness of Knoydart.

Towns, villages and attractions nearby:

Glencoe, Fort William, Urquhart Castle, Ben Nevis, the Rest and Be Thankful viewpoint, Crinan Canal, Loch Ness, Glenfinnan Monument, Oban, Easdale Island, Oban Distillery, Ben Nevis Distillery, Inveraray, Castle Stalker and much more.

Don’t just take our word for it…

“I’ve been a group organiser for many years, initially arranging events for the Ferrari owners club of Scotland, as well as the Aston Martin owners club.

The Isles of Glencoe is my hotel of choice for an overnight stay on the west coast. A very memorable experience which included fantastic staff, a welcoming atmosphere and the feeling that that the hotel went the extra mile to make our stay special. Easily able to accommodate over 100 participants, and 53 super cars including Lamborghinis, Aston Martins, and Ferraris.

From reserved space in the car park for all our vehicles, to the location and spectacular scenery. It’s an ideal place for any club looking to spend a night or two whilst exploring the Highlands and Atlantic coast.”
