Go Glencoe Guiding
Your own guided tour through The UK’s most dramatic scenery…
There’s loads to do and see in Glencoe, but sometimes we know it can be a little daunting trying to find the things you want to see on your own. With the mountain tracks not signposted and some hidden gems pretty well hidden, we thought it was time to let you know about Keith.
Keith runs Go Glencoe Guiding, and it’s much more than just scenery. Whether you’d like to climb to the top of Britain’s highest peak, or explore some lower level walks with heaps of local history, Keith’s will make up a bespoke half or full day trip that’s suitable for your ability.
And there’s no chance of getting lost when you’re out with Keith. He knows the area like the back of his hand and he loves nothing more than taking tourists out and telling them all about the sights.
Whether you’d like to trek your way through the Hidden Valley, take a historical walk around Glencoe Lochan or try out a spot of mountaineering up Ben Nevis, Keith will take you there.
Keith will tailor his trips to suit you. If you’ve limited mobility, he knows exactly the accessible places to go where you can see the most. Whether you’re a grandpa, a five-year-old or a super fit athlete, he’ll make sure the trip is as interesting as it is beautiful with his stories and knowledge about the area.
And on top of that you can expect to see anything from mice and tiny voles, to mountain hares, red and roe deer and some fantastic birds too. And if you’re lucky you might even spot a golden eagle.
For those of you who need a little help with navigating your way around, or would just like to find out a little more about the area on your trip, Keith’s half day guided tours start at £90 for two people, and for a full day it’s £160 for two people.
