Brilliant boat tours, for less…
Crannog Cruises mean luxury boat tours, breath taking scenery, and if you’re staying with us it’s all for just £10 instead of £15.
One of our favourite ways to explore Lochaber, these 90-minute tours through Loch Linnhe give you the chance to learn all about the area. Aboard Souters Lass, the informative skippers are full of stories about everything you could possibly imagine in the area. Whether it’s to do with the scenery, history or wildlife in Lochaber, these guys really know their stuff.
You’ll get to see some of the nicest views of the southern slopes of Ben Nevis, The UK’s highest mountain. And some of Scotland’s best wildlife is commonly spotted from the Crannog Cruises, with porpoises, seals and even golden eagles inhabiting the area.
And there’s no need to worry about the Scottish weather ruining your trip. Souters Lass has its own heated viewing lounge where you can pick up a hot drink and take it all in from the comfortable room. If it’s just a wee breeze, they’ll provide you with a blanket to keep cosy on deck too.
Fancy making a day of it? You can include a three-course lunch at Crannog’s loch-side restaurant after the cruise. They serve up fresh Scottish seafood, and it’s just £27.50 for the cruise and lunch.
Throughout July and August they’ll also be hosting evening cruises out on Loch Eil, which means you can enjoy all of that beautiful scenery with the sun setting in the background.
If you’re in Fort William, Crannog Cruises are an absolute must.
