Mum’s the Word
Mother’s Day… it’s time to bring out the big guns.
Being a mum is far from an easy life of flowers and treats, but on Sunday 26th March, that’s exactly what it needs to be.
Not all heroes wear capes, and one of those heroes is without a doubt, your mum. So we’ve put together a fool proof plan for letting her know just how special she is.
First of all, take her out for a lovely lochside meal. Our special Mother’s Day menu comes with three courses for only £19.95 per person, and we’ll even treat mum to a little gift too.
Now that you’ve got the meal sorted, it’s time to crack on with the gift…
This little gift won’t take long to make, but it’s sure to put a smile on mum’s face. Find a time when you won’t be interrupted by a suspicious mother, and start crafting your gift.
Here’s what you’ll need – a paper plate, green pipe cleaners, yellow tissue paper, orange paint, and the all important, PVA glue.
Here’s how it’s done…
The finished article…
Take the paper plate, use the pipe cleaner for the stem and leaves, and a few layers of tissue paper for the petals. (obviously using your PVA to glue them down!). Then use the orange paint to add that little splash of colour. Voila, your handcrafted present to show mum just how special she is.
To all the mum’s – we salute you!
